Clarks Distribution Centre

AWW was appointed by Clarks to design their state of the art distribution facility in Street. The 55,000sqm distribution centre was designed to service their shops across the whole of Europe, with a capacity for storing six million pairs of shoes and for processing and distributing up to one million pairs per week.

Part of our role on the project was to masterplan the overall site replacing the old factory and storage building with much needed housing. This land was subsequently sold to a housing developer, contributing to the funding of the new facility.
