White walls serve as a neutral backdrop, ensuring that sensory lighting, such as those used during social activities or film screenings, are clearly visible and effective.
Partitioning Sliding Doors
The use of sliding doors allows the large space to seamlessly transition between the relaxed lounge area and a functional kitchen-dining space. The flexibility allows the space to be adapted based on the day's activities and the needs of the pupils, ensuring it remains functional and inclusive.
We are very pleased with the building which exceeded our expectations in providing a positive learning environment. From the outset Simon was keen to fully understand our vision for the Post 16 centre and the differing needs of the students. At every point Simon has sought to involve the whole school community which generated ownership of the new building.”
