BBC Plymouth

AWW refreshed and refurbish the existing 1900s BBC building in Plymouth. The structure, located in a conservation area, requires the modernisation and rationalisation of the existing floor plan to accommodate 150 staff members and the enhancement of current systems to allow for state-ofthe-art broadcasting technology.

Through space planning we created a flexible floor plan that allows for the entire news team to work in a single space. The introduction of flexible working principals and the adoption of break-out spaces and technology-hives will allow the BBC to work in a more responsive and creative way.
