Purifier House

The Purifier House and Boat House

Purifier House and The Boat House on Bristol’s Harbourside comprise 36 stylish one and two bedroom apartments, plus two and three bedroom duplex apartments. The site was redeveloped by restoring and renovating the existing Purifier House and Gasferry Road wall (Grade II listed) and introducing a new building (The Boat House) within the curtilage of the listed wall.

A new harbour inlet and split level harbourside walkway was created as part of the masterplan. Purifier House accommodates 215sqm (GEA) of retail / cafe / restaurant to the ground floor overlooking the harbourside. The Boat House provides 265sqm (GEA) design accommodation on the lower level.

“We found AWW to be very communicative and efficient, we were working with Andy and he dealt with any issues in a quick and timely manner. On any project you run into various problems but Andy’s approach to collaboration was really inspiring, he promptly dealt with any problems and kept the project moving forward. I really like the result of the scheme, it’s really well designed and purifier looks great. It’s already all sold out which is testament to the beautiful design and we are already receiving interest in the commercial aspect. We think that the scheme provides a valuable addition to create a vibrant area and our successful collaboration with AWW has helped us bring the waterfront back to life.” Hayley Milner - Client
