Rapid expansion in its first five years has led technology and investment business Parmenion to require a move from a 40 to 350-person accommodation. Their fitout sought flexibility, a method to futureproof an evolving business whilst preserving the heart and culture of the company in the landmark 1,200 sqm Grade A Aurora building in Finzels Reach.

Parmenion front entreance

AWW has developed a strong relationship with the client on this project and consequently we gained a thorough understanding of their aspirations. The space we designed for them encompasses their desire to develop an agile work space that responds to their staff needs: the welfare of their staff being a key driver of this project. This has led us to host several workshops in order to develop a design that fulfils their requirements.

In collaboration with the client and through the workshops we have designed a bespoke agile working floorplate for Parmenion which includes; work café with flexible seating, collaborative zones for team ‘scrum meetings’, a communal ‘Town Hall’ area and the integration of technology to enable flexible work styles. The reception area was key to this design, creating a private secure meeting space as well as a 60 person flexible conference room. There is a need to future proof the design to support future business evolvement and our design is targeting BREEAM A+.
