Glassfields, Plot II
The first phase of the 36,500sqft commercial office space at Glassfields. This brownfield site, which included a former 1970s office building and is within the Enterprise Zone, is being developed to provide flexible office space organised in a cluster of 3 separate buildings totalling 90,000sqft of net space.
The buildings have been designed to reflect the latest in contemporary architecture whilst combining the essence of Bristol’s historical harbourside architecture and incorporate a mix of naturally ventilated and mixed mode systems to create a highly energy efficient design.
The buildings are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ accreditation together with the highest levels of EPC rating, embracing industry best practice energy efficiency measures and sustainable technology, utilising a roof top mounted PV array. The design achieves a 20% saving of regulated CO2 over and above current building regulations.
