Mark joined AWW in 1994, two years after qualifying. He became a Director in 2005 and heads up AWW’s Office Design and Interior Design sectors. In 2018 Mark took over as Practice Director.
His work includes several major commercial development projects, each with a construction value in excess of £50 million. Clients include Investment Funds, Developers, Owner Occupiers and Tenants for both city centre and out of town locations. Mark’s commercial developments have a particular emphasis on solutions that offer flexibility and address sustainability at concept.
Mark was the Project Director for Imperial Tobacco HQ, the largest owner-occupied property constructed in Bristol in recent years. AWW provided complete architecture and interior design, supporting the client through a large workplace and location change. Mark also heads up the Interior design team who work across the hotel and leisure, education, healthcare, student living sectors as well as workplace.
Mark’s work spans a multitude of sectors with a passion for the commercial office sector; award wins include BCO recognition for Imperial Brands HQ and Bridgewater House and recent planning approval successes include; the Quadrangle in Cheltenham and Glassfields in Bristol. Mark recently completed his four year tenure as Chair of the BCO South West and Wales Committee and continues to sit on the committee supporting progression within the industry.
