Charles Jordan

Director and Architect

“We use digital technology to resolve real-world challenges and to communicate and quantify our designs - which means our clients are on board and engaged at every stage.”

Charles relishes the challenge of complex, stakeholder-driven projects. The relationships he builds with clients ensure that his design solutions are not only innovative but also address future needs.

He is highly focused on achieving the aims of the client and has a detailed appreciation of the need to balance these with the end users’ expectations. His excellent communication abilities enable him to present ideas to people whatever their previous experience of construction.

Charles’ commitment to continual improvement and relationship building is exemplified by his work on the frameworks at University of Bath Framework and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

At the University of Bath, Charles has led the team to deliver the high profile gateway buildings at either end of the Claverton Down campus: 10 West and the new School of Management.

For the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Charles has overseen a wide range of smaller scale refurbishment and extension projects delivered to exacting standards to update services and facilities for highly vulnerable mental health patients.

Charles’s passion for clarity and collaboration in design continues to drive AWW’s expertise in digital design. As IT Director, he oversee AWW’s BIM initiative and he continues to ensure that the practice remains at the forefront of technology and quality processes.
