George Brennan Appointed as New Director

AWW celebrates our 100th staff appointment with George Brennan joining as a Director in the London office.

This is a strategic appointment in response to our growing presence in the London market and it comes as the Practice enters its 45th year. George joins us having delivered a catalogue of award winning designs with notable practices such as Foster + Partners.

He will be working alongside Director Nicholas Mulholland to expand AWW’s presence in London. It is testament to the dedication of the AWW team that we are able to make this key appointment to strengthen our growing team in London.

AWW is proud of the design excellence of our work which spans a multitude of sectors. George has experience across many of these with a special interest in culture and heritage. His recent works include the Museum of Free Derry, the Waterside Theatre, Derry, and the Spotlight Creative Arts Space in London.

George spent much of his working life in London until he relocated to Ireland as Principal of his own practice, Brennan Associates. We are delighted to have tempted him back to London to play a key role in our successful expansion in the London market.

We are thrilled to welcome George to AWW.  This is a significant investment in the future of the practice as we reach our 100th member of staff. George will be able to bring exciting new skills and experiences that will help shape the future direction and aspirations of the Practice.” – Mark Alker Stone - Director, AWW
