AWW was recently awarded a World of Opportunity grant through Heathrow and the Department for International Trades ‘Exporting is GREAT’ campaign, which made £40,000 available for SME trade missions and research into global markets through the World of Opportunity programme.

“AWW inspired Environments is spreading its wings for international project work and we are delighted with our win in the Heathrow World of Opportunity programme,” said Richard Francis, practice director at AWW. “We have been glad of the global reach that Heathrow has given us as a springboard for projects in Nigeria, Manila and Malta.”

The World of Opportunity programme received 300 applications. the winning entries chosen by a panel of experts, including Heathrow chairman Lord Deighton and DIT’s international trade adviser Keith Moses.

“Such recognition, like the Heathrow award, is especially pleasing as we were selected by those outside our professional peer group solely on our performance as recorded by Companies House, followed by rigorous sector benchmarking. It follows our recent runners-up position in the AJ100 Employer of the Year awards and is a testament to the creativity and commitment of our entire team, ” said Francis.
