AWW’s Performance Driven Design approach defines sustainability at project inception, offering our clients tangible benefits specific to their priorities.
AWW is committed to creating a positive environmental impact.
Our unique approach to sustainability stems from the importance that we place on designing buildings of exceptional quality that deliver project value to our clients.
We call our approach Performance Driven Design (PDD).
Sustainability in practice
We use our in-house environmental modelling software to parametrically test early designs in real-time. By assessing energy efficiency at the start of the design process we can refine and communicate the building performance strategy to stakeholders at the right time; when simple design decisions can have far reaching effects.
This iterative design process is integral to our BIM workflow, providing opportunities throughout the project lifecycle for design team collaboration and project efficiency.
Our collaborative approach to masterplanning, architecture and interior design, helps to give us the expertise we need to apply PDD all scales – from strategic place making to individual well-being of building occupants.
Within each of our offices, building performance coordinators are on hand to disseminate technical knowledge and take part in the design review process, helping us to continually improve our sustainability offering.
ISO 14001 Accredited
