4th Year graduating students at the University of the West of England and the University of Bath are to be recognised for achieving excellence in their studies by the RIBA Bristol and Bath and the Bristol Society of Architects.

RIBA Bristol and Bath’s vice chair and AWW architect, Geraint James, will be presenting the 2012 award at the University’s Part 1 Architecture and Planning undergraduate degree show on Thursday 7th June.

“The RIBA’s mission is to advance architecture by demonstrating the benefit to society and promoting excellence in the profession. It is only fitting that we are able to recognise that talent and hard work at this stage and look forward to seeing these exceptional local students reach their potential.”

Mike Court, chair of the RIBA Bristol and Bath, will be at Bath University’s End of Year Show on Friday 1st June to honour students there.

“This year’s students have a clear understanding of the balance between conceptual creativity and the constraints of real life with architecture and planning working hand in hand, and we can’t wait to see more of their work in the future.”
