Working with Skanska, AWW has created 27 new modular units for Redland Green School to house 12 new classrooms. These are an exact match with the existing school, featuring timber cladding and curved roofs.
The expansion, which creates more than 100 extra pupil places over 5 years, will help ease the demand for secondary places in the north of the city.
“Increasing the number of high quality school places in Bristol is one of our priorities… this latest project adds another piece of the puzzle.”
Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol
“The modular units were built offsite using a process which is greener, quicker and safer than traditional models.”
I’m delighted that we’re now able to welcome more students to our school. The build process has been very smooth and I’m sure the students will thoroughly enjoy learning in their new classrooms during the years ahead. Sarah Baker - Client
