Glassfields, Plot 2

The first phase of the 36,500sqft commercial office space at Glassfields. This brownfield site, which included a former 1970s office building and is within the Enterprise Zone, is being developed to provide flexible office space organised in a cluster of 3 separate buildings totalling 90,000sqft of net space.

The buildings are targeting BREEAM ‘Excellent’ accreditation together with the highest levels of EPC rating, embracing industry best practice energy efficiency measures and sustainable technology, utilising a roof top mounted PV array.

Sustainability

The design achieves a 20% saving of regulated CO2 over and above current building regulations. BREEAM Excellent is targeted.

Director’s Quote

“The buildings have been designed to reflect the latest in contemporary architecture whilst combining the essence of Bristol’s historical harbourside architecture and incorporate a mix of naturally ventilated and mixed mode systems to create a highly energy efficient design.”
