AWW are pleased to announce that Planning Consent has been granted for the Hiatt Baker halls of residence for Bristol University.
This extension to the existing Hiatt Baker Halls on the Stoke Bishop campus consists of 323 study bedrooms together with refurbishment of some existing reception and social spaces. The new bedrooms are all self-catering and arranged in cluster flats of 10 en-suite bedrooms with kitchen and social rooms and 12 bedrooms with shared bathrooms in a townhouse format.
The project lies within the conservation area in the grounds of the Listed Wills Hall. The sensitive design responds to its context and uses the latest off-site manufacturing techniques and should be ready for the intake class of 2014.
Patrick Finch, Director of Estates at Bristol University said “I am delighted with the results.”
