KPMG one of the ‘big four’ accountancy firms will be letting most of 66 Queen Square development which is due to open this summer. Designed by AWW, the development provides 66000 square feet of Grade A, BREEAM Excellent office space in the most iconic square in Bristol. Bristol Posts’ Gavin Thompson reported that the professional services firm has agreed a 15-year lease for the first, second and third floors and part of the ground floor.

Phil Cotton, Bristol office senior partner and South regional chairman at KPMG, said: “Our new office in Queen Square will provide our colleagues and clients with top quality office space equipped with the latest technology and located in the heart of the city.” The building, one of the first speculative office developments in Bristol since the recession, has been positively received. Bailey Secretarial commented on facebook “This building looks amazing, lucky KPMG employees”!

66 Queen Square is participating in Open Doors 2015, which gives you a unique opportunity to have a behind the scenes look at major construction sites across the country. During the Open doors visits, the building structure will be fully completed on all five floors, including the concrete and steel frames along with pre-cast concrete stairs. Roofing and building envelope works will be substantially complete. Finishes to the listed building will be complete with these works ongoing in the new build. All aspects of the build will therefore be available to view so this is an interesting stage of the project in which to visit some 3 months before planned completion.

Visitors will receive a short induction and talk about the Project followed by a tour of the building. You can Book a Visit on 6th or 7th March 2015.
