The Greater London Business Conference on Nigeria was held in London in September. It was a conference of high expectation and it began on this key note delivered by the conference director, Dr. Chris Onalo: “You are here today to find someone you can do business with; you must be ready to approach the next person; you must have your business cards, flyers and even brochures available to give out. To Nigerian delegation, today you are meeting British investors, business associates/partners and advisor’s. Your expectations have been met; it’s up to you now to engage them constructively. We have worked so hard to make this happen, seize the moment now. We expect that at the end of this event, strong business partnerships and investment would be formed and the trade and investment relationship between UK and Nigeria will propel to new heights. The voice of men and women vibrating in this hall throughout today and tomorrow shall be strictly business, trade and investment, and I urge everyone to keep to this.”

AWW is operating in Nigeria where it is helping with the construction of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Cross Rivers State. Director David Perkin speaking at the conference said that we are helping to introduce international best practises into the country. AWW, which specialises in designing educational facilities, has put together a building that looks like a workplace environment to help motivate the students.
