YES!!!!! We've just been named AJ100 SW Practice of the Year for the second time running!
The Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is a facility being added to the University Teaching Hospital Lewisham to improve its Primary Care and Accident and Emergency services. We are working with Kier Health under the Procure 21 system and are currently on site having achieved financial close in September 2010.
A new ‘blue light’ entrance and also a public main entrance will be provided at each end of a new ‘mall’ which will give access to A&E, UCC and Outpatients.
Adjacent to the heritage buildings that denote the Hospitals main entrance, the new construction will be in planar glass, metal panelling and deep overhanging eaves to give effective canopies to the door-ways. In addition a new modular building clad in Euroclad Micro-rib panels is being provided to replace part of the old ‘workhouse’ and accommodate the displaced paediatrics’ department.
