Building has published its list of Top 150 Consultants. AWW has risen in the ranks by 18 places to 107.

This year’s Building top consultants survey paints an encouraging picture of practices working in an economy which has definitively turned a corner, and where the London-centric growth of 2013 has broadened into an upturn affecting most parts of the UK.  Many practices identify private commercial work and private housing – in particular student housing – as the hot sectors driving improvement, while public sector work outside of education remains subdued.

AWW Practice Director Richard Francis commented “Having weathered the storm of the recession we are now enjoying constructive growth, working UK-wide and Internationally. While fee bids are still competitive, it is exciting to be able to look to the future and the placing of AWW amongst the country’s best architectural practices. We have taken on some great new staff over the past year, which is key, and continue actively recruiting.”

AWW ranks at 107 out of the top 150 consultants and with a staff growth rate of 31% we are listed at no 11 out of 147 featured as the fastest growing companies.
