In our 40th anniversary year, AWW is moving London operations to the Borough of Southwark, with new neighbours including the Shard, London Bridge and Borough Market.
This move to larger premises reflects the expanding portfolio of AWW projects in and around the capital, including a collaboration with Linden Homes to redevelop Battersea Police Station (pictured). This attractive Edwardian building is being retained and converted, with a modern and complementary element created at the rear. The development will provide Wandsworth with much-needed new housing, including a proportion of affordable homes.
AWW is also behind the evolution of Merit House in Colindale; transforming an unsightly, under-used and outdated office building into a high quality, high performing, landmark sustainable building.
Other significant and exciting schemes are in the pipeline.
“Southwark has been undergoing a series of regeneration projects, and we’re excited to be moving to this vibrant area. In our increasingly busy London office, we look forward to continuing to create inspired environments in the region.” Nicholas Mulholland, Director
From 1st September 2015, the new address for AWW in London is 106 Weston Road, London SE1 3QB. The nearest mainline rail and underground stations are at London Bridge.
