AWW is delighted that two of our projects have been shortlisted for the South West Insider Office Development of the Year with 66 Queen Square nominated alongside Narrow Quay House!

66 Queen Square is located in Bristol city centre and adjoins the historic Queen Anne House which is Grade II listed. The site has been developed into a Grade A office that combines Georgian elegance with modern efficient office space. The building was recently sold for £32.7m and will soon be occupied by KPMG.

The site is within the city centre conservation area and AWW worked closely with the Local Authority and English Heritage to ensure that the relationship of the new buildings were given careful consideration to ensure the urban grain, scale and mass didn’t dominate the listed buildings.

In 2014 66 Queen Square won the BCI BIM Project Application of the Year and we hope 2015 will be equally as successful in the South West Insider Property Awards on 8th October.

Project Director Ian Jenkins notes that “it is testament to the positive impact AWW is having on the development of Bristol city centre that we have two projects nominated for this headline category.”
